The surroundings are everything in outdoor activities. NoNameSports, a specialist in team-building and adventure events, needed to transform its exterior space to immerse visitors in the action from the first moment. They asked for a jungle setting, with one key condition: creative freedom.
Rather than painting a realistic or childlike jungle, we reinterpreted the concept through our own graphic style, adapting nature to industrial brickwork to create a vibrant, energetic backdrop.
The intervention: depth and camouflage
Working across a large brick wall allowed us to play with scale and texture. The design focused on two main elements:
- An immersive atmosphere: a rich palette of greens, ochres and earth tones builds layers of vegetation. Organic forms and carefully placed shadows create depth, making the wall seem to disappear into the jungle scene.
- Contrasting elements: to break up the green, we introduced dynamic details such as stylised tree silhouettes and brightly coloured animals, including a neon-red flamingo. We also incorporated the brand name in graffiti lettering that appears carved into the landscape.
Impact on the space
The result goes beyond decoration. The mural works as:
- A visual identity: it gives the venue a distinctive, adventurous character that reinforces the NoNameSports brand.
- A setting for activities: it provides a backdrop for team photographs and matches the energy of the physical challenges held at the venue.
At Dale Color, we transform industrial buildings and sports venues into spaces with character. If you have metres of grey wall, you have a huge branding opportunity.
