Dale Color’s work travels beyond borders. During a stay in Costa Rica, we painted the shutter of a burger restaurant in a colourful, busy area.
The identity was simple: burgers, fries and enjoyment. To stand out, we chose a radically simple monochrome design, using strong contrast to draw attention from the street.
Precision in playful doodle art
The repeated cartoon characters create a lively texture, but clean white lines on black require careful planning and control.
- Chalk preparation: We sketched the full composition in chalk first, placing each burger and portion of fries before painting.
- Freehand white linework: Controlled spray-paint strokes create continuous, crisp lines, giving the characters form without filling them in.
An appetising identity
- An immediately clear offer: Even a passing glance tells people what the restaurant serves.
- A playful visual language: Smiling burgers and relaxed illustrations connect with younger customers and visitors.
Whether in Madrid or the Caribbean, we adapt the design to the business. Clear ideas and careful execution speak a universal language. Planning a project in Spain or abroad? Get in touch.
