When opening a business, first impressions are everything. The future Pan y Cacao bakery approached us with its brand guidelines. They wanted a faithful translation of their elegant visual identity onto the façade, rather than a freehand illustration.
The challenge was the typography: a classical serif typeface with fine details that left no room for unsteady lines. We chose high-precision stencils instead of freehand painting.
The technique: plotter cutting and Pantone matching
To reproduce the digital design accurately, we followed a precise process:
- Plotter-cut stencils: we digitised the logo and produced a large vinyl mask. Applied to the shutter, it let us paint through the cut-outs for crisp, defined edges, especially important for this fine lettering.
- Pantone colour matching: we matched the brand kit to professional spray paints, combining an elegant dark olive-green background with gold-ochre lettering while respecting the brand's palette.
The result: elegance and readability
The finish conveys craftsmanship and quality, two key bakery values:
- Precise typography: “PAN Y CACAO” is clear and elegant, following the shutter slats without visual distortion.
- A premium image: the colours and clean execution communicate a high-quality business even before it opens.
At Dale Color, we use the techniques needed to protect your brand identity. If your logo demands precision, we have the tools to bring it to life.
