A façade can keep communicating while a business is closed. For La Plataforma del Estudiante, we transformed a generic white shutter into a recognisable neighbourhood landmark.
We adapted the academy’s identity to the outdoor surface and painted everything freehand with spray paint, working with the corrugated metal rather than adding vinyl or stickers.
A balance of function and visual character
The composition was designed to make its information clear from across the street.
- The central logo: A graduation cap inside a circle forms the visual heart of the brand.
- Educational illustrations: Books, coloured pencils and a clipboard give the shutter a fresh appearance and explain the business at a glance.
- Clear lettering: The sides display the academy’s teaching levels — primary, secondary, sixth form and university — alongside contact information.
Visibility and durability
Painting on corrugated metal takes care to keep lines and lettering from appearing distorted. The result is a clean, professional image that conveys trust and helps the academy stand out when surrounding businesses are closed.
