Connecting a global brand like SHEIN with the language of the street takes boldness and colour. We brought urban authenticity to this event, creating a space where digital fashion met physical art.
The brief had two parts: transform the industrial setting with a large-scale intervention, and offer a personalised experience so visitors could wear the art as well as see it.
The experience: container art and Custom Lab
We designed a dynamic activation with two visual focal points:
- The container mural: we turned an industrial shipping container into a canvas, covering it in tags, flowing shapes and neon colours under cyan lighting. Messages including “ESTO ES SHEIN” — “THIS IS SHEIN” — and “DISTRITO…” linked the graffiti directly to the brand's identity.
- Live textile customisation: at our customisation station, guests brought T-shirts and tote bags. With textile spray paints and exclusive stencils, including our graffiti-inspired Statue of Liberty, we created individual designs in seconds.
The impact: from spectator to collector
The activation broke down the barrier between artist and audience. People came to take part in the creative process, not just to watch.
- Instant exclusivity: every guest went home with a hand-customised garment, turning a standard product into a one-off limited edition.
- Social content: the neon-lit container and live T-shirt painting process created an ideal setting for photographs and videos.
